Terms & Conditions for Debt Recovery Communications

1. Agreement to Be Contacted

By entering into an agreement with your medical equipment provider/creditor, you acknowledged and consented that, in the event of nonpayment or delinquency, your account may be transferred to an appointed debt recovery agency, in this situation: Absolute Collection Corp (“the Agency”). Upon such transfer, the Agency is authorized to:

Contact you via phone calls, SMS/text messages, postal mail, or email using the contact details provided to your medical equipment provider/creditor.

To Provide information and reminders regarding your outstanding balance and payment due dates.

2. Nature of Communications

Messages sent by the Agency are intended solely for the purpose of recovering outstanding debts or providing important account notifications.

Communications will clearly identify the Agency and will not include any marketing material unrelated to your debt recovery process.

The frequency and content of these messages will be reasonable and in accordance with applicable regulations

3. Compliance & Privacy

All communications will comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices.

Your personal information will be handled with strict confidentiality and privacy safeguards.

4. Right to Opt Out of Reminders

You have the right to opt out of receiving SMS/text or email reminders from the Agency at any time:

For SMS/Text Messages:

Reply “STOP” to any reminder SMS you receive. After opting out, you will no longer receive text reminders related to this debt, though you may still be contacted through other lawful and necessary means (e.g., phone, mail).

For Email Reminders:

Click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any reminder email you receive. This will stop further email reminders about your account.

For All Other Communications:

Contact the Agency directly at (716) 267-1707 or info@absolutecollection.net to update your preferences or fully opt out of digital reminders.

5. Acknowledgement

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge you have read and understood the rights and obligations regarding communications from the debt recovery agency, and you agree to the outlined methods for managing your notification preferences.
